Positions for the Thomas|Kayden 2013 Summer Program
Thomas|Kayden is currently accepting resumes for law clerks for our summer 2013 program. The summer program at Thomas|Kayden involves significant training including a structured seminar program coupled with close mentorship working on various client matters. While our current needs are for candidates with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, we are willing to consider all technical disciplines. In addition, we typically take part in both the Southeastern Intellectual Property Job Fair held at Georgia State University in Atlanta and the Loyola Patent Law Interview Program held in Chicago each summer. If you plan to attend either of these programs, please indicate so in your cover letter. We understand that the cost to attend these events may present an obstacle to some candidates. To this end, we will try to accommodate as many individuals that we can by potentially traveling to various locations throughout the country to meet with qualified candidates.
Third Year Law Students, Recent Graduates, and Experienced Attorneys
Thomas|Kayden is currently accepting resumes for full-time associate positions for third year law students set to graduate in spring 2012, recent law school graduates, and applicants with up to 4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. Experience writing software code either in an engineering capacity or as a software engineer is preferred, but not required. As much as we value technical experience and legal competence, we also value someone with a positive attitude who is professional, disciplined, and focused with exceptional writing skills.
